Our Online Renewal (CCW) Permit Course provides a comprehensive and flexible solution for residents of Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Merced, Plumas and Kings County, to renew their CCW permits from the comfort of their homes. This course delivers in-depth training on essential firearm safety, legal regulations, shooting fundamentals, and practical self-defense techniques.

The 4 Safety Rules to Live By:
Treat All Firearms as if They Are Loaded: Never assume a firearm is unloaded—always check and double-check before handling.
Never Point a Firearm at Anything You Are Not Willing to Destroy: Keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times.
Keep Your Finger Off the Trigger Until Ready to Shoot: Maintain discipline by keeping your trigger finger outside the trigger guard until your sights are on target.
Be Sure of Your Target and What Is Beyond It: Always identify your target and what lies beyond to prevent unintended harm.
Course Goal:
The goal of this course is to provide exposure to all topics required by the state of California for renewing a CCW permit. However, true proficiency requires ongoing learning. Students are encouraged to build upon this training by exploring additional resources through:

Live-Fire Qualification: Proving Your Skills
Upon completing the online course, you will attend a live-fire qualification session.
Here’s How It Works:
Completion Confirmation: Once you finish the lecture portion of the course, an email will be sent to you with clear next steps.
Schedule at Your Convenience: The email will include a link where you can schedule your live-fire qualification session at your convenience at a local range in Fresno/Clovis.
Receive Detailed Instructions: You’ll also receive comprehensive details about the live-fire requirements to ensure you’re fully prepared for your qualification.
I learned more in your online class than in my previous initial and 2 renewal classes at the company I was using. I appreciated the base knowledge of the different types and parts of weapons and the clear explanations of ammunition types and components. I found it very helpful! Great experience with the online training course for my renewal! Definitely recommend it if you're a bit on the busy side like myself with minimal time to go into a classroom setting! Paco is very knowledgeable and the course itself is top notch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I took the online renewal course and then my live fire qualification with Paco at The Firing Line. Paco gave me excellent shooting instruction that gave me confidence with my ability and my firearm. I will definitely return to 559CCW IN 2 YEARS.

Paco shared some good tips on how to hold my gun for better handling. He was kind and supportive!!! I would highly recommend using his service for renewal. I had to do the online version due to my work schedule but I think I’d go in person next time to take his course.
