559CCW offers California CCW training led by Francisco “Paco” Villarreal, a California DOJ-certified CCW instructor and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Choose initial, renewal or nonresident training. Local classroom sessions are held in Sanger, with live-fire qualification at Fresno Rifle & Pistol Club in the Clovis area.
Complete your 16-hour California initial CCW classroom training online at your own pace. Your progress saves automatically. This course serves Fresno (PD & Sheriff), Tulare, Madera, Merced, Kings and Plumas County applicants.
$125 includes the online course and live-fire qualification with 559CCW. Local students qualify with Paco at Fresno Rifle & Pistol Club in the Clovis area. The range charges a separate $28.50 range-use fee. After completing the lessons, you will receive an email with qualification scheduling instructions.

Complete your California CCW renewal classroom training online at your own pace with automatic progress saving. Our 8-hour renewal course serves Fresno (PD & Sheriff), Tulare, Madera, Merced, Kings and Plumas County applicants.
After the online lessons, local students complete live-fire qualification with 559CCW at Fresno Rifle & Pistol Club in the Clovis area. Qualification is included in your course purchase; the range charges a separate $28.50 range-use fee. Your completion email explains how to schedule.

This California DOJ-compliant online CCW course is exclusively for California residents applying for a concealed carry permit through the following approved counties: Alameda, Alpine, Humboldt, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Plumas, Riverside, Sacramento, San Benito, Santa Cruz, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Tehama, and Tuolumne. Complete the required classroom training online at your own pace, then schedule your live-fire qualification to meet your issuing agency’s requirements. You’ll learn California firearm laws, safe handling, use of force, conflict avoidance, transportation, storage, and the legal responsibilities of carrying a concealed firearm. This course is not approved for applicants whose issuing county is not listed above.

Non-Resident California Online CCW Permit Course
Our 16-hour Online California CCW Training Course is now available to qualified non-residents. Train from anywhere with self-paced online lessons covering firearm safety, California concealed carry laws, and defensive firearm fundamentals. Your progress is automatically saved, allowing you to complete the course on your own schedule from any device.
This SB2-compliant, DOJ-certified course meets California training requirements for approved counties. Applicants must be members of organizations such as Gun Owners of California (GOC), CRPA, GOA, or SAF and demonstrate a valid reason for travel to California.

After completing your online or in-person CCW training, you must submit your Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit application through the Sheriff’s Office in the county where you reside.
