The 4 Safety Rules to Live By:

1. Treat All Firearms as if They Are Loaded: Never assume a firearm is unloaded—always check and double-check before handling.
2. Never Point a Firearm at Anything You Are Not Willing to Destroy: Keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times.
3. Keep Your Finger Off the Trigger Until Ready to Shoot: Maintain discipline by keeping your trigger finger outside the trigger guard until your sights are on target.
4. Be Sure of Your Target and What Is Beyond It: Always identify your target and what lies beyond to prevent unintended harm.

Course Goal:

The goal of this course is to provide exposure to all topics required by the state of California for a CCW permit. However, continuous learning is essential for staying prepared and responsible. Students are encouraged to build upon this training by exploring additional resources through:

Live-Fire Qualification: Proving Your Skills

Upon completing the online course, you will attend a live-fire qualification session.

Here’s How It Works:

Completion Confirmation: Once you finish the lecture portion of the course, an email will be sent to you with clear next steps.

Schedule at Your Convenience: The email will include a link where you can schedule your live-fire qualification session at your convenience at a local range in Fresno/Clovis.

I learned more in your online class than in my previous initial and 2 renewal classes at the company I was using.  I appreciated the base knowledge of the different types and parts of weapons and the clear explanations of ammunition types and components.  I found it very helpful!  I loved being able to go at my own pace. The information was clear and concise. Paco was very approachable and able to answer any questions I had. The experience at the firing range was also great. Again well organized, clear instructions and attention to detail. Thanks again! Thanks again!
